Albany 55 - North Carolina 63
First off, welcome to the new home of Coach Brewer's Albany Great Danes.
First off, a list of thanks. Thanks to Nafsder2003, who's original layout I edited to be useable with Blogger. Thanks to His Greatness for the awesome banner at the top of this site. Could it be any better? I think not.

There will be a lot of new stuff added here soon, so only expect it to get better as it progresses.

Now, let's get down to business.

There wern't many ways to put the other nights game. Albany simply wasn't athletically fit to compete with a team as strong as UNC, and it showed on the court, as UNC rolled to the 8 point victory.

Albany was led by strong performances from Joshua Chapman and Neil Hale, who combined for 43 points and 6 rebounds, but they could not get much hlep fromt he supporting cast, including normally spectacular Spanky Cleland. The Tarheels were led by stong performances by Chuck Locklier, who scored 25 points while dishing 6 assists, and Jesse Belser, who put in a double-double for the unranked Heels.

Albany (3-5) will now prepare for their first conference game against Hartford, which will come up at the end of the week.
